Emily Ziff Griffin is known for penning the critically acclaimed novel Light Years, which she developed for television with Amblin Entertainment. Currently, she’s also scripting a feature adaptation of her New Yorker essay “The Last Dance With My Dad” for Fifth Season and producer Lynette Howell Taylor. Her essays have also appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Yale Review, Self, Refinery29, and more. Previously, she co-founded Cooper’s Town Productions with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, a company she ran for 10 years which produced the Oscar-winning film Capote, among others.
