    Tasos Nousias

    Tasos Nousias (Τάσος Νούσιας, Rodotopi, Ioannina, 12 August 1973) is a Greek actor.

    He graduated from the State Theatre of Northern Greece. He completed his studies in mechanical engineering and was a member of the track and field team. Eventually, he decided to pursue acting.

    He has participated in various series and theatrical performances. He has performed on the largest stages in Greece from the National Theatre of Northern Greece and the Embros Theatre to the Technochoro and the Kalamata Municipal Theatre. He has tried his hand at all types of theatre, from farce and boulevard to ancient Greek drama. This diverse acting career established him and gave him the opportunity to collaborate with great directors such as George Michaelides, Tasos Bandis, Yannis Kakleas, Thodoros Terzopoulos, Anastasia Revi and others. He has many participations and collaborations in important film and television productions where he embodied heroes of novels and historical books such as: The Children of Niobe by Tasos Athanasiadis, The Witches of Smyrna by Mara Meimaridis, The Voice by Christos Khomenides, The Powerless Lies by Orestis Chalkiopoulos and in 2010 The Island by Victoria Hislop. In these productions, he collaborated with excellent directors, such as Kostas Koutsomytis, Nikos Grammatikos, Vasilis Mazomenos, Christos Dimas, Alexandros Pantazoudis, Thodoros Papadoulakis, Giorgos Gikapepas, Kostas Charalambous, etc.

    In recent years, he has also been involved in production, creating four TV films for Educational Television, entitled Moments from the History of Theatre, written and directed by Marlene Kaminsky, examining the evolution of theatre through four great writers: Aeschylus, Shakespeare, Schiller, Chekhov, who were milestones in the history of theatre.

    He has been honored twice with an acting award. The first time was in 1996 when he was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award at the 37th Thessaloniki Film Festival for his participation in the film "Apontes" by Nikos Grammatikos and the second time was in 2008 when he was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award for the short film "The Passage" by Yannis Katsamboulas at the 16th Mediterranean Festival of Young Filmmakers (Larissa 2008).
