Giuseppe Bennati

Giuseppe Bennati was an Italian film director and screenwriter, active primarily during the 1950s and 1960s. He began his career directing documentaries and made his feature film debut with Il microfono è vostro (The Microphone Is Yours, 1951). Bennati is perhaps best known for the giallo film L'assassino ha riservato nove poltrone (The Killer Reserved Nine Seats, 1974), a thriller set in a haunted theater where guests are mysteriously murdered. His work often explored suspense and psychological themes, contributing to the Italian genre cinema of his time.
